Get skating!

This program teaches young children basic skating skills following the Skate Canada CanSkate Program which is considered to be the essential foundation for figure skating, hockey and speed skating. The Champs Learn To Skate program is one of the most popular programs in the province and intends to inspire confidence and enjoyment in skating while focusing on skill development and participation.

Coaches make sessions active using visual aids and music to create a fun, stimulating, and welcoming environment. Report cards, ribbons, and badges highlighting achievement are received as skaters progress through different levels!

No skating skill is required; all lessons are given in group format and are led by NCCP Certified Skating Coaches. Each skating year is divided into four terms: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer with a short break in between.
